Stress Free UNCG Campaign

Project Details

Educating students about stress management and the services available to them at UNCG was the mission of The University of North Carolina Greensboro’s Division of Student Affairs. Stress-free UNCG was introduced in Spring 2013 as a means to bring together formerly independent departmental initiatives under one umbrella. The campaign touted, “12 Departments, 31 days, 25 events, 1 mission—less stress.” A microsite was created as a resource for students and included stress-management tips and a calendar of stress-relieving events. Departments collaborated on social media efforts.
The campaign received positive feedback from both students as staff. Individual event attendance increased from the previous year and the departments within the Division decided to continue the campaign and their collaborative efforts for future stress-free programming that occurs at the end of each fall and spring semester.
